A follow-up to Obeya Fundamentals
Obeya Hosts are essential for facilitating effective guidance within the Obeya. By creating a safe environment, they enable team members to inform each other and hold each other accountable for their responsibilities and agreements.
The Obeya host ensures that collective learning and decision-making processes accelerate and that the right interventions occur to achieve agreed-upon goals. Thanks to our training, you will be well-prepared to function as an Obeya Host and contribute to the success of your organization’s initiatives.
Our curriculum is based on the 11 Obeya principles and focuses on the four quadrants: Mindset, Alignment, Workspace, and Content, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of how to foster an open and collaborative environment within an Obeya.
By completing our training, you will gain a solid foundation in Obeya practices, enabling you to accelerate collective learning and decision-making processes and ultimately contribute to the success of your organization’s Obeya initiatives. This is achieved by coaching in the formulation of desired (measurable) results, identifying potential obstacles and by asking the right questions.

- For everyone who has started with the Obeya Fundamentals certificate and is setting up and organizing the Obeya in their own organization.
- For Agilists who now fulfill the role of Product Owner, Product Manager, Epic Owner in the organization.
- For Business Change Managers and Program Managers who work with visual management, or want to start working with it.
Obeya Certification
When you participate in the Obeya Host training with us, you will also have the opportunity to earn the Obeya Fundamentals certificate from the Obeya Association. Certification includes one year of membership in the Obeya Association (see also www.obeya-association.com).

- Be able to coach teams on the growth mindset
- Be able to keep the teams focused on the described goals and key results (OKR), maximizing the teams’ impact on the organization.
Important information: An Obeya Fundamentals certificate and experience in a change role are recommended for this training. Reading on the Obeya Association website is advisable. Additionally, reading the Scrum Guide (found on scrum.org) is recommended.
